We are holding our next Charity Bookstall on: FRIDAY 20 MARCH 2026
at the United Church of Egham, High Street, Egham, TW20 9EX
Sadly, even when our Charity Bookstall is not open, our usual online offering via our ebay shop is currently not available; we are working hard to get this issue resolved.
We are pleased to announce that our Charity Bookstall team were awarded the Team Volunteer Award at the Runnymede & Spelthorne Volunteer Awards 2025.
For the last 4 years, we have raised on average over £20,000 p.a. Since inception in September 2000, we have raised over £200,000. After deducting running costs, in 2025 we donated £19,600 to local charities and good causes.
How to donate books:
- We are very happy to accept 2-3 bags or small boxes of book donations when our Charity Bookstall is open. For any larger donations please contact us first: uce.fundraise@gmail.com so we can ensure we have the capacity to accept your donation and/or possibly collect from you. Many thanks for your understanding.

Irrespective of the amount we raise at our monthly Charity Bookstalls, we commit to donating a minimum £500 each month to one of our regular local charity partners, giving something back to the local community, who support us so well. At the end of the year, depending upon how much money we raise, we donate any surplus funds to a number of charities, many chosen by our loyal volunteers. For the last 4 years , we have raised on average just over £20,000. Since its inception in September 2000, the Charity Bookstall has now raised over £200,000.
