OUCH
OUCH – Stands loosely for “Oldies Using Church Hall”.

You are invited to join us on the last Thursday of each month at The United Church of Egham between 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm to play board games and to socialise – Rummikub and Scrabble are the favourites at the time of writing, but we’ll give anything a try.
If you are not keen on board games why not bring your knitting or any other hobby you might pursue to do amongst friends whilst enjoying the chatter and a cup of tea during the afternoon. It won’t break the bank as your first visit is FREE and thereafter we charge 50 pence subs to cover your refreshments. Any surplus monies are given to the Church at the end of the year towards heating, lighting etc. This is an open meeting for both men and women. We look forward to welcoming you.

Egham Choral rehearse in the church from 7.30pm on Monday evenings.

New members are always welcomed into the choir at any time of year, although our rehearsal schedule tends to follow school term times. Whether you are an accomplished singer, a newcomer to choral singing, or just feeling a bit rusty after a few years off, you will find a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere in the choir.

The choir is noted for its friendly and relaxed approach, and membership is open to anyone interested in singing. There are no auditions; all that is required is a willingness to learn and a desire to make music.
